Integrating Outbound Contact with HubSpot through our Webhook integration via Zapier is a game-changer for keeping your leads and contacts in sync across platforms. It’s like having your own personal assistant, making sure all your data stays up-to-date without you lifting a finger! Ready to get your workflow running on autopilot? Let’s do this! 

1. Open Outbound Contact and HubSpot

  • Start by launching both Outbound Contact app and HubSpot on your computer. You’ll need them both open for this setup.

2. Create a New Webhook in Outbound Contact

  1. Head over to the Integrations section in Outbound Contact.
  2. Select the option to create a new webhook.

Keep this page open for now—we’ll come back to it in a bit. 🕒

3. Set Up Zapier

  1. Open Zapier in your web browser.
  2. Click on “Create Zaps” to start a new automated workflow, also known as a Zap.

4. Create a Webhook to HubSpot

  1. In the search box, type “Webhook to HubSpot” and select it.
  2. Zapier will generate a flow for this integration. Just sit back and relax while it sets things up. 

5. Add Steps to the Zap

  • Once the flow is ready, click “Add all steps to zap” to include all the steps you need.

6. Copy Webhook URL

  • Zapier will now provide you with a webhook URL.
  • Copy this URL—we’re going to need it in the next step. 

7. Paste the Webhook URL in Outbound Contact

  1. Go back to Outbound Contact and paste the webhook URL into the appropriate field.
  2. Select the trigger event in Outbound Contact, like “when a lead accepts an invite to connect.”
  3. Give it a quick test to ensure everything is working smoothly. 

9. Continue with Selected Record

  • Click “Continue with selected record” in Zapier to move on to the next step.

10. Set Up Action in Zapier

  1. Choose “Create Contact” in HubSpot as the action.
  2. If you prefer, you can choose “Update Contact” instead. Click Continue to proceed. ➡️

12. Map Fields from Outbound Contact to HubSpot

Now it’s time to map the fields from Outbound Contact to HubSpot. Common fields include:

  • Email
  • First Name
  • Last Name

Feel free to map additional fields as needed to get all the info you want!

13. Test the Zap

  • Click “Continue” and test the integration step to make sure the data is sent correctly to HubSpot.

14. Verify Lead in HubSpot

  • Check your HubSpot contacts to verify that the lead has been created or updated as expected. Everything looking good? Awesome! 🎉
